RAK Construction is a Florida-based general contracting business located in the growing town of Destin on the Emerald Coast. We excel in creating property equity by specializing in new residential construction, large high-end residential remodels and a variety of multi-family commercial developments and occasional light industrial projects.While we enjoy the many types of general contracting, we have the largest success in developing new, single family homes in some of the fastest growing counties in the country. 

RAK Construction’s founder and president, Drew Killingsworth has construction in his blood. He is the fifth generation of general contractors in his family. His great-great-grandfather installed the dome on the capital building in Tallahassee. His great-grandfather saw potential on the Emerald Coast early on, and invested in thousands of vacant acres in Navarre, FL along with thousands of feet of gulf front property...all before there was even a stoplight in town! His father and grandfather carried on the legacy, developing thousands of acres into communities that are still thriving today in Northwest Florida

A true native of the Florida panhandle, Drew grew up between Destin and Navarre, and is a graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. He then finished his academic career at Brock School of Business where he earned his M.B.A. After college, Drew returned to the Emerald Coast where he began working full time with his father at the family building material supply business. 

Drew’s passion for residential construction began in YEAR when he had an opportunity to apprentice under a general contractor during the development of a spec house.
